 There are universes wherein gods battle gods.  These cataclysms resound throughout the star systems, and worlds are torn apart by the thousands. The pure fury of divine force is too much for mortal eyes; to bear witness is to go mad, to succumb to the purest form of insanity, and watch one's own mind be consigned to chaos. There are universes wherein evil reigns supreme - where darkness prevails and good is smothered.  For the wicked amongst the divine require their own place to call home, their own domain and sovereignty.  Demiplanes are erected and host planes torn apart to make room for this monstrous host.
